Meet the Team

AlenaAlena

Registered Dental Hygienist

I am a people person and enjoy working one-to-one with patients as they improve their oral health. It’s important for a person to understand the role dental hygiene plays in overall wellness and how to keep the mouth clean and healthy. I take X-rays, screen for periodontal and other oral health issues, and clean teeth. While I’m working with a person, I provide education and encouragement: seeing a clean, healthy smile at a recall visit makes my day!

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, especially my new spouse (we were married in April 2017) and my adult daughter. We enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking, and going to the beach. I also like escaping into a good book.

I love the relationships I’ve built with my patients over the years. It’s a great feeling to help my friends achieve a beautiful smile and improve their dental health. We have an amazing team, and Dr. Anderson is both skilled and gentle. We’re like a big family and our patients are part of that! I provide a range of dental hygiene and preventive care, to ensure healthy smiles. I also educate and encourage my patients to develop positive habits and good home dental hygiene routines.

My husband Chris and I have three children: daughter Cosette and young twin sons, Collin and Conner. We love to travel and enjoy the great outdoors, especially camping, hiking, and going to the beach. I’m an active volunteer in my children’s school, co-leader of Cosette’s Girl Scout Troop, and I teach part time at a dental hygiene school.

I am happiest when connecting with people and building relationships with them. Taking care of one’s dental health is important, because what happens in the mouth affects the body and vice versa. I want people to understand those connections and become proactive in caring for their smile! I take X-rays, measure periodontal pockets, and gently clean teeth, as well as offer supportive periodontal therapy.

Much of my free time is spent with my spouse and daughter. I enjoy being active to stay healthy, and balancing that with relaxing. I love cooking, too. I volunteer at the Kids’ Community Dental Clinic in Burbank, where I provide oral health education and help with outreach activities. I’m also currently writing several children’s books about oral health, nutrition, and exercise.

Patient Care / Financial Coordinator

The best part of my day is helping patients have a positive experience. Starting with the fist time they call our office, to when they arrive for their first visit. A beautiful smile makes such a difference in how a person feels, and the confidence they have. It is rewarding to be a part of that transformation.

I've been married for ten years. We have three loving boys and four very active dogs. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my boys and watching our Dodgers play.

My passion for dentistry is driven by the opportunity to improve people’s lives. A beautiful, healthy smile makes a difference in how a person feels, physically and emotionally, and that’s rewarding to me. As a hygienist, I assess oral health and remove tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth. I also provide preventive care, apply sealants and fluoride, and teach people about oral health, to motivate them to keep their smile clean and bright.

In my leisure time, I enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and being with my husband, my son Devin, and my dogs, Missy and Gogo.

Sara K.Sara K.

Dental Assistant

I enjoy getting to know people on a personal level. We serve a diverse community and I’m always learning from what people share. Our office feels like a big, welcoming family and we care for each patient the way we’d care for a good friend: gently, patiently, and with compassion. I seat patients, prepare them for their procedure, and explain what will happen. Sitting chairside, I assist Dr. Anderson while keeping the patient updated on how well things are going.

I’ve been married for almost 20 years and have six children. As you might imagine, they keep my husband and me very busy! If we’re not at home, we’re likely at the baseball field, where my husband is the president of our local Little League and I run the snack bar. In the free time I can find, I enjoy reading and sewing baby blankets.

Sara L.Sara L.

Office Manager

I really enjoy talking and laughing with patients. It’s an honor to become their friend while ensuring they receive the best care, experience stress-free visits, and develop a healthy, beautiful smile! Not only is Dr. Anderson a great dentist, he is also an amazing human being. The same is true of our staff: We’re united in our desire to deliver top-notch, personalized care. I create, establish, and manage office protocols to ensure we run efficiently. I also train our staff and strive to make sure everything runs smoothly so people smile throughout their visits.

I’m an L.A. native and love my city! In my spare time, I love being with my daughter Leah and husband Joe. I like cooking for them and we enjoy going on little weekend getaways. I’m also very involved in Leah’s Folklorico dance group, “Nuestra Herencia.”

I enjoy getting to know patients on a personal level: hearing about their life and activities. The more I know about who they are and how they spend their time, the better I can help them develop stronger, healthier smiles. I take X-rays, gently and thoroughly clean teeth, and provide periodontal care to restore gum health. While caring for my patients, I talk with them about their oral health, and provide information and encouragement so they can take better care of their smile.

I grew up in the Glendale area and attended La Cañada High School. I went to Brigham Young University and then the University of Southern California. I’m married and have two wonderful children. Outside of work, I love time with my family, along with running and traveling.
